Additional Dailey & Vincent Information

The most eagerly-anticipated bluegrass debut in recent memory, Dailey & Vincent introduces a powerful new ensemble steeped in bluegrass and country music traditions, but blessed with the drive, talent, and charisma to assert those timeless values proudly onto today's stage. Co-leaders Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent have already had a profound impact on much of the best modern bluegrass via their contributions to such estimable performers as Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, and Rhonda Vincent & The Rage. Stepping out on their own for the first time, Dailey & Vincent make breathtaking music that seamlessly connects country music's roots in brother duet singing to its future in exhilarating, full-throttle bluegrass - without ever sacrificing heart, sincerity, and soul.

"Even before one note of their stunning record had been heard, the pair earned a standing ovation at the 2007 International Bluegrass Music Association convention and were booked for more than 100 shows. Now that the album is here, the advance accolades are completely understandable. This is music that can stand side by side with any of the most revered bluegrass discs ever made." - from the liner notes by Robert K. Oermann

What Customers Say About Dailey & Vincent:

We love to listen to Dailey and Vincent. They have such good harmony and play it gooood.

What talent-what a CD. All the songs on this project is worth 10 stars. I like their version of the The Statler Brothers classic, "Name On The Wall." the Cd CD begins with a rip-roaring, fast bluegrass song, "Sweet Carrie." I believe the future has just begun for these guys. I can't get enough of these guys.

My answer has always been the same; If you want gospel bluegrass, it is Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, and if you want good driving bluegrass with a good portion of gospel, it is Ricky Skaggs. If you want to find a CD that good, traditioanl style Bluegrass, you just fond it.

The Stanley brothers, Bill Monroe, Reno & Smiley, and so on. Luckily, we have acts that keep this tradtional style of this music still alive.

As a younger(though now hitting my late 30's) fan of tradtional bluegrass, times have grwn further and further between finding a band that plays the music I grew up on. This is only half of the dozen songs found on this CD and the other 6 hold the same water these 6 do.

Dailey and Vincent are already among the legends with this debut album alone. The album has a nice mix of wonderfully upbeat, smooth flowing songs such as "Cumberland River" and "Sweet Carrie" to slow ballads of life with "More Than A Name On The Wall" and "River Of Time" to beautiful sung songs to Our Lord and Savior in the tunes "By The Mark" and "Place On Calary".

During the last 20 years that I have regulerly attended Bluegrass Festivals and followed this most wonderful of all music styles, I have been asked who is the current best band. Now when I am asked, I find myself saying "Dailey & Vincent".

I first saw Dailey And Vincent while vacationing in Nashville at the Grand Ole Opry House. I bought the CD for "By The Mark' and discovered that there is not a bad track on the CD. They were by far the highlight of the show for me, as someone not normally a fan of country music, they simply blew me away. Awesome vocal harmonies, very talented musicians and very funny too. Songs range from gospel to country to bluegrass. I would recommend this to anyone.

I loved this CD. Dailey and Vincent have great harmonies together and they are very talented.
